The Smith family received their family portrait session as a gift. Their super adorable friend reached out to me and worked out all the details of the gift.
At first, we had to reschedule our session for another day, it was so wet and rainy. I didn’t want to do that to her sweet family. Especially the little ones.
The day we rescheduled to was a breezy, sunny day.
Saint and his wife Sandy are hands down two of the nicest people I have ever met.
We chatted all about military life, as they are a military family as well. Turns out, Sandy and her family have been to some pretty legit places. They’re headed to Colorado soon. Lucky.
When we chatted about locations for their session, Sandy told me there’s a beach they’re really fond of and always go to.
There is nothing better than a location that is personal to the client.
Their beach was AMAZING.
There we’re huge quartz rocks lining the ocean. I was super excited, I’m just a little Cali girl who has never seen anything like this in my life.
It was perfect.
The ocean spray came over those rocks like the most beautiful sea spray I have ever seen. Very salty though, 10/10 would not recommend keeping your mouth open as it sprays you.
Learn from me haha.
The Smith family session was full of playful laughter, my favorite thing in the whole world. Next to coffee, obviously.
